Watching JHPVisuals grow has been nothing short of a privilege. My journey with JHPVisuals began in Sheffield in 2021 when I was just starting out and eager to gain experience in the industry.
I couldn’t have gotten luckier than to meet someone as generous with his knowledge as Jimmy. At the time, Jimmy was filming a lot of ultra-distance running events, and he welcomed me into his world of ultra-marathon racing, a niche industry that’s as unique as it is challenging.
Through countless long van drives, I started to understand Jimmy’s vision: to build a more sustainable production company, one that tells deeper, more meaningful stories about the things we truly care about. It’s been a real journey going from those early; fast turnaround event edits to now working in an office and collaborating on projects in entirely new environments. Still, the memories of those raw, gritty days at the races have stayed with me, shaping who I am and how I approach our work.
I’ve seen JHPVisuals evolve from editing in small tents at races across the country to taking on larger, more ambitious projects like With the Season or Footsteps. The shift from solo work to a small team—first George and me, and now our tight-knit family of five—has been incredible, and it’s exciting to think about what’s coming next.
It’s been a whirlwind of creativity, growth, and learning. To witness and be part of this journey has been a dream, and seeing projects like the Scottish Outdoor and Adventure Film Tour come to life and receive such a positive reception from audiences brings me so much joy.
Here’s to what’s next!
