Salomon TV - Kilian Jornet Completes the Bob Graham Round in Record Time

On July 8, 2018, with the help of the fell running community of England's Lake District, mountain athlete Kilian Jornet completed the legendary Bob Graham Round. This is the story of his effort.

Working for Summt Fever Media and Lymbus Life, I was part of the Salomon TV hill team who filmed Killian Jornet’s record breaking Bob Graham Round in the UK’s Lake District in 2018.

Jenn Gaskell - Team Montane Athlete Profile - Tor Des Géants

Ahead of the Montane Tor Des Géants race I filmed with ultra runner Jenn Gaskell. We chatted about how her running has developed over the past few years, and what she thinks of the Montane Tor Des Géants - a race she hopes to finish for the third time this year.

Treak Cliff Cavern - Theee video series

Treak Cliff Cavern is a well known showcave in the heart of the Peak District, but there is more to the cave than just the tourist route.

The brief was to create three short films to shed light on the aespects of the cave that are not seen by the visiting public. 

The films were commissioned for the new interactive visitor centre and online release.

Treak Cliff Cavern UNSEEN (Above) looks at the areas of the cave that are not on the tourist route, this includes a new section of natural cave passage that was only discovered in 2014 and each of the famous Blue John veins that are still mined to this day amongst other areas.

Treak Cliff Cavern MINING is the story of how the world famous Blue John Stone is mined from the cave and processed in the on-site workshop to create anything from ear rings to chalices. It also looks at how the availability of high powered modern tools have transformed the mining process and why the miners only extract less than half of their annual allowance each year.

#Summittosea - A swim Run adventure

Aleks Kashefi is a British endurance athlete and experienced mountain runner who has become an expert in running barefoot.

Following an epic run from the North to the South of Europe in 2016 Aleks was searching for the next big adventure, only this time he looked much closer to home.  

Summit to sea is the story of a man who was terrified of the water exploring the Lake District in a different way and overcoming his fears.

Its the story of a Swim Run adventure from the summit of Scafell Pike to the Irish Sea.

Intrepid Brewing Company

Intrepid Brewing Company is a small craft brewery in the High Peak producing Cask, Keg and Bottled beer with a local twist. Owner, Ben, has a strong vision and drive to push the business forward whilst staying strong to its roots. Our job was to capture this drive and tell the story of Intrepid Brewing.

Buxton Museum and Art Gallery Pocket Wonders App

Buxton Museum and Art Gallery have recently launched a new app, known as the Pocket Wonders App. The app allows a user to view an artefact in the museum, follow an interactive map to the point where it was found and then read more about the artefact from the comfort of an armchair.

The brief was to create three 60 second social media video’s to advertise the app and its features in an exiting and engaging way whilst also emphasising the diversity of the museum.
